Ingredients:
- 2 packs of tea biscuits or graham crackers
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
- 2 cups of heavy cream
- 1 packet of unflavored gelatin (optional, for a firmer texture)
- ½ cup of warm water (for gelatin)
- 1 cup of mixed fruits (e.g., strawberries, cherries, or other berries), chopped
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Prepare the Cream Mixture:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream.
- If using gelatin, dissolve it in ½ cup of warm water and let it bloom for 5 minutes. Add the dissolved gelatin to the cream mixture and mix well.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Assemble the Layers:
- In a glass dish, spread a thin layer of the cream mixture at the bottom.
- Add a layer of biscuits, ensuring they are evenly placed.
- Pour another layer of the cream mixture over the biscuits.
- Sprinkle a portion of the chopped fruits over the cream.
- Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cream on top.
- Chill the Dessert:
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours, or overnight, to allow the layers to set and the biscuits to soften.
- Serve:
- Scoop or slice portions and enjoy!
