Ingredients:

  • 2 packs of tea biscuits or graham crackers
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 2 cups of heavy cream
  • 1 packet of unflavored gelatin (optional, for a firmer texture)
  • ½ cup of warm water (for gelatin)
  • 1 cup of mixed fruits (e.g., strawberries, cherries, or other berries), chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Cream Mixture:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream.
    • If using gelatin, dissolve it in ½ cup of warm water and let it bloom for 5 minutes. Add the dissolved gelatin to the cream mixture and mix well.
    • Stir in the vanilla extract.
  2. Assemble the Layers:
    • In a glass dish, spread a thin layer of the cream mixture at the bottom.
    • Add a layer of biscuits, ensuring they are evenly placed.
    • Pour another layer of the cream mixture over the biscuits.
    • Sprinkle a portion of the chopped fruits over the cream.
    • Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of cream on top.
  3. Chill the Dessert:
    • Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours, or overnight, to allow the layers to set and the biscuits to soften.
  4. Serve:
    • Scoop or slice portions and enjoy!
