Ingredients:
- For the gelatin cubes:
- 4-5 packs of flavored gelatin (different colors and flavors, such as strawberry, lime, orange, and pineapple)
- Water (as per the instructions on the gelatin packages)
- For the creamy base:
- 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can of evaporated milk
- 1 cup of heavy cream (optional for extra richness)
- 2 packets of unflavored gelatin
- 1 cup of water (to dissolve the unflavored gelatin)
Instructions:
- Prepare the colored gelatin cubes:
- Follow the instructions on the flavored gelatin packages to make each flavor.
- Pour each gelatin into separate containers and refrigerate until fully set (about 2-4 hours).
- Once set, cut the gelatin into small cubes.
- Make the creamy base:
- In a small saucepan, sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over 1 cup of water and let it bloom for a few minutes.
- Heat the mixture on low, stirring constantly, until the gelatin dissolves completely. Do not boil.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream. Stir well.
- Gradually add the dissolved gelatin mixture to the milky mixture, mixing continuously.
- Assemble the mosaic gelatin:
- Place the colored gelatin cubes in a bundt pan or mold, spreading them out evenly.
- Slowly pour the creamy mixture over the gelatin cubes, ensuring the cubes are covered.
- Gently tap the mold to remove any air bubbles.
- Refrigerate the mold for at least 4-6 hours, or until fully set.
- Unmold and serve:
- To release the gelatin, dip the mold in warm water for a few seconds, then carefully invert it onto a serving plate.
- Slice and serve chilled!
