This refreshing and creamy dessert combines soft custard and colorful jelly cubes, perfect for any occasion!
Ingredients:
For the Jelly:
1 pack (85g) flavored gelatin (yellow or mango-flavored)
2 cups hot water
2 cups cold water
For the Custard Base:
1 can (400g) sweetened condensed milk
1 can (370ml) evaporated milk
2 cups heavy cream (or all-purpose cream)
1/2 cup sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup warm water (to dissolve gelatin)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Jelly:
Dissolve the flavored gelatin in 2 cups of hot water.
Add 2 cups of cold water, mix well, and pour the mixture into a flat dish or mold.
Chill in the refrigerator until fully set (about 2-3 hours).
Once set, cut the jelly into small cubes.
- Prepare the Custard Base:
In a large mixing bowl, combine condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream. Stir until well mixed.
Dissolve the unflavored gelatin in warm water, then add it to the milk mixture. Mix thoroughly.
Add sugar to taste if desired.
- Assemble the Dessert:
Pour a thin layer of the custard mixture into a glass dish or mold and let it set slightly in the refrigerator (about 10 minutes).
Add the jelly cubes on top and gently pour the remaining custard mixture over them. Ensure the jelly cubes are evenly distributed.
Refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours or until fully set.
