Ingredients:

4 tablespoons cornstarch

1/2 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup heavy cream (whipped)

For the chocolate layer:

1 cup milk

3 tablespoons cocoa powder

3 tablespoons sugar

1 tablespoon cornstarch

For assembly:

1 pack of biscuits (like graham crackers or tea biscuits)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the cream layer:

In a saucepan, combine milk, cornstarch, and sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.

Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Let it cool to room temperature.

Fold in whipped heavy cream for a light, creamy texture.

  1. Prepare the chocolate layer:

In another saucepan, whisk together milk, cocoa powder, sugar, and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.

Let it cool to room temperature.

  1. Assemble the dessert:

In a rectangular dish, layer biscuits at the bottom. Spread half of the cream mixture over the biscuits.

Add another layer of biscuits, followed by the chocolate mixture.

Repeat the layers, ending with the chocolate layer on top.

  1. Chill:

Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.

Slice and serve chilled.
