Ingredients:

4 cups stuffing mix (store-bought or homemade)
1 ½ cups chicken or vegetable broth
1 small onion, finely diced
2 celery stalks, finely diced
1 tablespoon butter or olive oil
1 egg, lightly beaten
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon dried sage
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Gravy:
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
½ teaspoon onion powder

Instructions:
For the Stuffing Balls:
- Sauté Vegetables:
In a skillet, heat butter or olive oil over medium heat.
Add diced onion and celery, cooking until softened (about 5 minutes).
- Prepare Stuffing Mixture:
In a large bowl, combine stuffing mix, sautéed vegetables, garlic powder, sage, salt, and pepper.
Add the broth and mix well.
Stir in the beaten egg to help bind the mixture.
- Form the Balls:
Using your hands, form the mixture into golf ball-sized portions.
Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and slightly crispy on the outside.
For the Gravy:
- Make a Roux:
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until light golden.
- Add Broth:
Gradually add the broth, whisking constantly to avoid lumps.
Stir in onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer:
Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring, until the gravy thickens.
Serve:
Drizzle the warm gravy over the stuffing balls and serve immediately!
