Ingredients:

For the Jelly Layer:

  • 2 packs of lime-flavored jelly mix
  • 4 cups of water (2 cups per pack)

For the Creamy Layer:

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 packets of unflavored gelatin
  • ½ cup of water (for blooming the gelatin)
  • Zest of 2 limes (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Jelly Layer:
    • Dissolve each pack of lime-flavored jelly mix in 2 cups of boiling water.
    • Pour the jelly mixture into a large glass dish or mold and let it set in the refrigerator for about 2-3 hours, or until firm.
  2. Prepare the Creamy Layer:
    • In a small bowl, sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over ½ cup of water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
    • Heat the bloomed gelatin in the microwave for 20-30 seconds, or until fully dissolved.
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream. Add the dissolved gelatin and mix well.
  3. Assemble the Dessert:
    • Once the jelly layer is set, gently pour the creamy mixture over it.
    • Smooth the top with a spatula and sprinkle lime zest evenly over the creamy layer.
  4. Chill the Dessert:
    • Refrigerate the assembled dessert for at least 4-6 hours, or until the creamy layer is fully set.
  5. Serve:
